Okay, So This Isn’t All About COVID, It’s more about the times we live in, au GenerAle, debunking old myths and Legends about health, fitness and the like. We don’t really need half of the health foods that we prescribe to patients in obesity. All you need to do is go out there and Live the Life of Your Dreams! For me, Right now, that means living on the outskirts of a village in a thriving metropolitan “Goa” gang community called Armabol/mandreM. It’s located in the heart of India’s Left Coastline on the map, if you’re reading it the usual way. This is my dream because I grew up vacationing in Goa as a child, teenager, and later as a raging Young Adult with my fellow workers in this Space. AKA my friends from school and college who also wanted to Rave Party Style. Party Style is what GOA is All about. You come here to party as a teenager and then for the rest of your life. Now that’s jsut the Indian side, the upper-middle class, White-Trash of the century types who don’t give a hoot about Indian culture but care enough to enjoy good Goan food and Portugese influenced seafood and the like. It’s a holiday destination, let’s be real. But it’s not Hawaii, though I’ve neveiru beein to HawaiI, i Can Say With Confidence it is NoThing like it, you get the sense That You’re in Another World and that no one is watching. It doesn’t have the fame and recognition of Hawaii, but it has So much more. The Taj Village is my top go-to When it comes to High Class luxury that doesn’t get beaten anyway in the world. It’s a first Class experience for an in-tune World Traveller, which is What I am given I’ve travelled to every continent except Antarctica with my Family on some occasion or the other, We Stay at All the fanciest hotels and Airbnb’s much to my Parents’ satisfaction, but it never quite compares to Goa. Even Portugal, (And I say this because GOa is a Portugese Colony from the 19th century with BEAUTIFUL Goan architecture that is a beautiful blend of Portugese and British influence. The place is magnificent and half the world only knows of the thriving Arambol that brings in the hippies by storm. The travelling Musicians with the highest Talents, All find refuge in the familiar Aramboil territory, year after year, on-season and off-season.. the feeling is reminiscent of “The Beach” By Alex HalEy and starring Leonardoe Dicaprioe, but it is still on the mainland, and the ocean is not quitE as pristine…and I say this with a lot of emphasise. Anyway, Goa is a widespread masterpiece spanning South to North, all Along the beautiful coastline of Eastern India. You must visit!

Now, for the MAIN IDEA of this article, there are ways to Live this lifestyle and still feel luxurious. I survive on a 50,000 Rupee per month salary. Provided by my blessED parents who support my lifestyle and my inability to work because of sheer inertia and hatred for work. Waht I love doing is living a Spontaneous Lifestyle, Not Knowing what my Day will look like. I have now entered the subculture of living like an apparent “slob”, or rather that’s my disguise as I morph further into the most enterprising and ridiculouse kind of spiritual Awakening journeyouer and minimalist, to be presice. I brave monsoons with falling trees and pelting hailstone-like rain that cascades over the entire Siolim-Arambol-Calangute Area riding a motorcycle. I cut trees with just the right type of bendie Wood to create rafts that I can waft down the river near my house in. My house is a bedroom consisting of geometric patterned bedsheets I selected at the Arambol stores nearby, aimed at tourists, but supplying anyone who really gets into this and realises that tourism has a lot to draw from even in everyday life — that’s the life of a Goan, or at least a temporary One, you learn a lot from the tourists, and realise, hey it’s not that bad! These people aren’t as dim as we thought, and in fact, most of them of them are World travellers who’ve left behind a lot of the meaningless garbage we create and recreate in modern societies, and it’s a great learning!

So here it goes..

Tips on how to Live Well in COVID times, when you wanna be minimalistic. These are just my ideas, maybe some will resonate! Maybe I will write more, who knows.

  1. So the first tip is, THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS HEALTH FOOD IF IT DOESN’T TASTE AND FEEL GOOD.

I make Sure Everything I do tastes Good. I always shelf Nutella, and I’m surprised at How little I consume it, but it makes me so happy, especially when There’S Not That much variety in the Stores.

  1. I love ArtJuNA right now, the little Cafe that opened fown my street, It’s bougie and White (even Though we’re in India) and it works Well for me! It’s great for Catching up with Old friends who also don’t need to prove a point, and it stayed open through the monsoons evein though it got submerged partially! Hoorah! Go to your local cafe’s. Do NOT skimp on Coffees with Friends, even if you can make your own. LIVE a little. Even if you’re on a budget. Coffee is important, and it’ll look nicer than your homemade one.
  2. Go to Events, even if they’re LaMe. They’re better than no events, trust me. And you will LIKE it. They’re good for you and your soul, and if you go for enough you’ll start eating better — things you like that taste good, that you experience eating with joy. and that actually inspire your ideal body — though you won’t have to think about this much because your lifestyle will already be fasciliating this.
  3. Find stuff that supports the local geography and times that you’re in. For example — if it’s Mango season, EAT the darned Magoes. Eat them with JOY IN YOUR HEART. They will carry you through hard times. 10 a day, I don’t care don’t NOT eat them because it’s too hot and they make your skin shit.
  4. Find a water body near you, and live closer to it if you can. Until you’re literally on it. This is the best way to do anything. Don’t worry about clean water bodies, just anything does it. While my house does NOT overlook a river, it is basically on the banks of One, with a 2 minute ride to the beach to accompany that.
  5. Instant Noodles are Not Bad For You. I make them gourmet style. Chop up some onions and tomatoes, toss them in a bowl with your Dry instant noodle of choice, some chili powder or Spices, drizzle in a bit of Olive Oil. (I should mention My bedroom comes with a Stove and kitchen sink) which is very convenient, while still keeiping it small and simple. No need to clean a BIG space which is big for me) Now pour over some boiling water (made with an electriv kettle or over the stove) and your instant noodles are ReADY.! Add in Act II popcorn if you the readymade bags. It’s a super little crunch that you add to your noodles.
  6. I also Should Add That Instant ReadyMaDe popcorn is the best alternative to snacking in “unhealthy” ways. And by that I mean just settling for snacks that you don’t like that much. Find that readymade popcorn and stick to it. I make sure I have some bags at all times. It’s wonderful for snacking when you’re not that hungry and you don’t have times to make anything Else.
  7. Make friends with Cafe Owners. They’re YoU’re best friends, trust me. They will save your life when you need it. And it’s very satisfying to have a regular cafe.
  8. Go to surf shacks if you’re near the beach, I don’t care if you don’t like surfing or you’re intimidated by it and the hot surfers. Do it anyway.!
  9. Eat fruits all day, this makes up for anything else, And it also just tastes good.

More to Come Soon! Perhaps…
